Description—The Wolf Creek Educational Center adventure will focus on the botany and restoration of the redwood Forest. Scouts will participate in an ongoing forest restoration project within Redwood National Park and engage in hands on activities exploring the variety and diversity of Redwood Forest flora. Wolf Creek campout is the last of the 2019 program; we hope each scout will take away a deeper understanding of the diverse web of life present in the redwood forest.

Date and Time—July 12-14; Scouts and families can arrive as early as 3-5pm on Friday; Program activities will end at 12pm on Sunday
Location and Directions—Redwood National Park; Drive time = approx. 1 hour from Arcata; We have reserved the Wolf Creek Educational Center and Lodges. Take Highway 101 to Newton Drury Scenic Pkwy ( exit 753 from HWY 101 N). After passing HWY 101 bridge, take first left (approx. ⅛ mile). Follow road through gate to Wolf Creek Educational Center.
Costs/Fees—Campout cost is $10 for an individual; $25 for a family; This includes lodging and food. Scholarships are available if needed. We received a grant for this campout from the Save the Redwoods League, so these fees will go towards campout adventures for Summer 2020.
Accommodations—Lodge camping; Families/scouts will need to bring overnight gear; We will provide a detailed list in advance; Reach out to us if there is something your family will need, we will always do our best to provide extra gear if needed.
Registration—Attendees must register in advance, as space may be limited, and so we can plan appropriately for food and supplies.
